Baseline Assessment

Step 1 - Your Baseline Assessment Session
In this 60-minute session, we'll meet you and your dog in a local secure field to discuss your goals.
During the session we will assess your dog's:
- Focus and engagement
- Prey drive and impulse control
- Recall reliability around distractions
- Retrieving ability
- Steadiness and ability to settle
You'll then receive a clear, written assessment report with practical feedback on your dog's strengths and areas to improve, and a training roadmap tailored to your goals.
Custom Training Plan
Regular sessions teaching real gundog skills adapted for pet life. Everything is positive, force-free and designed around your lifestyle and goals.

What to expect
- We train in a local secure field to give your dog freedom and space to enjoy learning.
- All breeds welcome, not just gundogs, any energetic dog can enjoy these skills.
- We teach foundational gundog skills inspired by The Gundog Club Grades 1-3, using force-free, reward-based training methods.
- We do not use live or cold game, starter pistols, or dummy launchers; our focus is on pet gundogs, not field trials.
